    Looking to buy either the Asus G750 or alienware 17, ive noticed the screen on the G750 is quite grainy, is the display on the AW17 basically the same?

    I haven't noticed any real grain - there is a tiny amount brought on by the semi-matte screen, but it's pretty much unnoticeable if you don't like to keep your eyes 2" from the screen.
