    I just picked up a 17x R2 with crossfire 5870 GPU's for a CRAZY good deal. Latest driver from Dell's website is very very old. Is there a recent driver somewhere or how to install newer gpu drivers on this thing?

    Make sure you're running the latest 5870M driver for your M17x R2 from Dell. Then update to the latest 5870M vBIOS for your M17x R2 from Dell. Once that's done you can install the latest driver from AMD.

    The latest 5870M vBIOS allows you to install the AMD reference drivers but you have to use the latest Dell 5870M driver for the transition as its built for that exact purpose.
