I cannot seem to find the link on Dell or Alienware's support sites to download the Command Center for the M17xR4.

I had to reinstall Windows when putting the mSATA in and don't have a copy anywhere.

Sanity74, I tried that 15 times. It's a no go. I found my Resource CD and installed it from there and then did the update button.

Either way, it is still missing from the Dell website or hidden somewhere that I can't find it.

Let me guess......you're on windows 8.1. ;). Why Dell chose not to have it listed yet is beyond me.

Just simply re-select the OS to windows 8 and there you go. 100% compatible.

Haha, Suade, I think that is the issue. It auto detected Windows 8.1 and would not let me choose Windows 8 or Windows 7.x. Oh well. I have it installed and updated now.

    Thank you everyone.

Don't do it the auto detect way but do it by selecting the product search. If you do have auto detect software on just turn it off.
For the future with auto detect off and without service tag....
