What laptops are compatible with the new Alienware Graphics Amplifier? I would love to use a desktop GTX 780 on my old M17x R3. Will this work? I was even thinking about buying a new M15 lappy and using my GTX 780 on that. Any thoughts?

    Alienware 15 + Amplifier + GTX 780 will work

M17x R3 + amplifier will not work, there is no PCIe port on the M17x R3

OK thanks for the info. Im thinking about getting the M15. My M17x R3 has been a great laptop but its time to upgrade. I honestly think this M17x R3 is too heavy and bulky so I want a smaller one this time. I also have a GTX 780 desktop card laying here collecting dust. I might as well get the AGA since its only $175 right now when purchased with a 13/15/17.
