    Alienware Light middle Dim

    my "Alienware" Wording lighting is dim on my m17x r4 not bright like on my m18x, i've had 3 screen replacements and it is still glowing dim what do i need to ask for to fix this issue is the cables faulty or is it motherboard not supplying enough current so faulty mobo any help is appreciated : <

    You havent got the dim lighting zones enables have you? and i would sya my alienware logo is on par brightness with the keyboard and my trackpad is the brightest by far. Maybe loose connection? Is it still a linear brightness across the sign? might be better to take a photo i guess.

    i can't be bothered taking the laptop apart atm since it has warranty and scheduled for a motherboard replacement soon this week hopefully or next week monday depending on when the parts arrive.     and yes dim lighting zones is unchecked in the alien fx

    Update got mobo replaced today ,still the same issue how can I resolve this :(

    Have you seen any other m17x? It is probably different.
