Now that my Alienware M17X R4 is enjoying its youth, I would like to keep it dust-free and shiny. Please share some cleaning tips.
Main areas: Dust under keypad, Fingerprints mark in the lid, and most importantly the screen.
    Thanks!

Clean both your GPU and CPU fan exhausts.

For the keyboard, you could remove it and clean it out, if it bothers you that much.

Keep your desk (or wherever you use your system) clean as well. Also, you should do 3D Mark benches every once in a while to see how the system is performing. If you notice temperatures increase, it may be time for a cleaning. If that doesn't help, you may need to re-paste.

Can't really help against fingerprints. Try to avoid eating near it, wash your hands more often, and use a microfiber cloth to wipe it down. You can take wet cloths to it. Not soaking wet...I mean like alcohol wipes or something. Make sure it dries before use.

Oh yes, my beloved RGB screen....!!!

After first RGB LCD (M17XR2) failure, Dell replaced it for me, for a brand new screen.
(my old faulty screen had some marks/tiny scratches already, DAT FRONT PLEXI GLASS IS SOO VULNERABLE !!!)

I knew the screen picks up a lot of dirt from underneath the keyboard while the laptop is closed !
(this is because screen acts like a dust and small debris magnet. Also when your laptop is resting on a laptop cooler its even worse- laptop cooler will blow air trough the chassis, and those debris from beneath the keyboard will also like to mess up your screen sleeve.jpg )

Every time i was opening my laptop LID i would notice some obvious debris/dust spots on the LCD Plexi glass, that were NOT there before i closed the lid overnight.

After being A FOOL for so long, i discovered what happens. So there you have it.

To AVOID it, i am using Alienware sleeve, i am putting it ON the screen part while the laptop is opened, and i am NEVER CLOSING THE LID ANYMORE. ( i leave it open at approx 30 degrees angle)

When i wake up in the morning, i am taking the sleeve off the screen, turn ON, and WHOLA - clean screen - FOREVER CLEAN - OH YEA

This is the reason why I like forums, people and their cool ideas. This one is just amazing. I am facing the same problem and every time I open the lid, theres something on it. no matter how clean I keep it, something comes up.
This cool idea of yours gets a like from me. :)

Also, I use my camera's blower to clean the dust from under the keyboard, If in case someone doesnt want the hassle of opening it.

I always leave it open but your could also leave a piece of cloth on top of the keyboard to keep it clean. As for the rest, removing the keyboard before blowing air might help get to most of the "difficult parts". Here's a teardown video in case you have never got the keyboard out, just be careful when removing the indicator cover (need to disconnect it before pulling it out completely).
