I am having some issues with the alienware M17X R2. The first issues is that when I unplug the computer from its power source, it freezes, and then I have to turn it off. When I turn it back on it goes into a blue screen loop, and the only way to fix this is to go into safe mode, and do a windows restore. The second problem is that when the computer is on and working when I close the lid, and open it again it does not wake up, the lights are on, and I can hear the fan but the screen just stays black. I have the A10 bios, and the latest videocard drivers, would doing the vbios upgrade fix my problem

Yes, it was designed to fix that problem. Welcome to the forums. Make sure to put your system specs in your signature.

So the v bios update will fix both problems listed?

I know for a fact it fixed the BSOD loop when returning to AC power. I might be wrong, but the sleep thing might still be in the air as far as a fix goes.
