Sadly, it looks like a Russian link when googled. While I have no problem with Russia, EVERYTHING russian I have encountered has been VIRAL.

I'm away from home now, so I'm not sure which version I have. Is there anywhere I can dl the patch manually?

yes, you can download everything manually...for example you can just install patch 1.9 and nothing else.

If you want to install the Dx 11 patch you need the 1.9 patch. You don't have to download the high res textures if you don't want to

I'm not sure about compatibiity with all the high texture packs and whatnot, but just some basic Crysis 2 benches using their bench tool would be nice.

I'll also read back and get any updates that I missed over the weekend.

    Thanks.

How are you getting 8192 MB usable memory. Usually, it gets used during start up right? Mine always says, usable approx 6000 MB, even though I have 8 gigs of memory.

I have no idea. That entry is all copied from the X3 - Terran Conflict benchmark report, so I would assume that is simply a failure to distinguish between total physical memory present and usable physical memory as we use the term. Task Manager ordinarily shows about 6.5GB of available physical memory and 6.0GB of free physical memory in my R3.

You may need it to run it with DX11 or high-res textures, but not the rest. I highly recommend getting all the updates from Crytek if you can, not just for that but for consistency compared to other people who run benches on an updated client. Otherwise, just run the benches as close as it will let you to those settings.

This isn't a benchmark post, but I just wanted to share that my R3 plays everything that I've been throwing at it lately. Just wish I had the time and dedication to play them more lolz.

Does a game need to have a benchmark tool for me to post my fps? Or can I just load a game...put it at max/benchmark settings and screenshot a stable fps?

If it has a tool, please use it. If not, screenshot or with Fraps would be fine. It's for us all to get a general idea of how our lappies perform on games.
