How good is the 1080p display?
How good is the speakers compared to the dell xps 15? Does the AW M17X have subwoofer? I have a dell xps 15 and I'm seriously deciding to sell it for a Alienware M17X for more GPU power.

1080p is good and a must have...not sure how it is compared to the XPS 15 FHD. No sub. in the M17x R3.

m17x is an amazing machine, the 1080 screen is better then any other laptop ive had however i never had an xps.

sound well my last laptop was the hp hdx dragon 20" with a sub and tbh its the best sound ive heard out of a laptop but the m17x is fine but headset > all regarding gaming

the screen is bright n sharp, the speakers are allright just dont expect too much out of it.

    Hi.
I had a XPS 16 studio and the screed was better than the mx17 but overal the mx17 is a better pc hands down
xps overheat due a design flaw , plus the performance of the mx17 kills any xps
