Alienware M17x Box

Friends...
I want to ask whether we can WRAP / FOLD the Alienware m17x BOX...???
Cause i want to put the box in my bag and i'll put the laptop to the orion bag...
Could we FOLD it...???

And Is the BOX important...??
my dad asked me to throw away the BOX...
But before i do it, i want to ask you guys...
Does the BOX important ???

Please reply to me quick...
Because tomorrow is the day that i'll kept the box or just throw it away...

So what's you guys think about ???
keep it ???
or throw it...???

and COULD WE FOLD the BOX...??
so that i can put it into my bag?

 

Hahahah.. My box is still in the corner. I like to see the alienhead before i sleep.

 

I always keep my boxes. Why? Bc when you go to resell it, the buyer sees you still have the box and translates that as a sign that you care/cared for this machine. Original packaging always brings higher resell. IMO

 

I dont know why i keep my box, it just looks too awesome to through away. When my system shipped it arrived to my brothers place in the states, andhe too thought it was too good to through away so he go the box with him I didnt even have to ask him to I keep all the boxes of all my systems, because as pmassey31545 they bring a higher resell price.
I also assume it is foldable although i havent tried

 

You could use the box to store all your old software, cables ect and than you have good reason to keep it. Next best thing to cut tape and fold. Or at least wait a month and make sure you don't have to send back. If there is a warranty issue they will want it shipped in original packaging.

cause i'm getting it from singapore and want to move it to Indonesia...

Definently keep the box. A box as nice as it wasn't meant to be thrown out. Anyway when you buy something and keep them until they are rare, eg. 30 years, the box can be worth alot of money.

The boxes are flat packed. I live in a small place and had to flat pack the boxes with ease

 

LOL, as much as I would like to sell my old junk, "Throwback Computers" don't really have a lucrative market...

I kept the box, and I'll keep the replacement's box!

 

I'm pretty sure this has been my favorite post in a long time... are you actually thinking about folding the box to put in your orion backpack? Classic!

i FINALLY CONVINCE my dad to kept the box instead throw it away...
and I KEPT IT...
i fold it and i put them into my bag...

So happy to kept it...

I fold the box and put in it in the orion back pack...
although i could not zip the bag..
but, yeah, still have a place to put the folded box...

and put my alienware m17x in others bag that i bought...
