Anyone else have an issue with the volume not getting quite as loud as you think it should? I have tried different apps/videos and the volume never gets that loud even turning the volume all the way up? Is it possible I am missing some sort of software/driver/setting? or are these speakers just not that loud

A lil trick I have used and it sounds one heck of alot better is to do the following: (this is on Windows 7 home premium so may be diffferent depending on your OS but should be there somewhere like below)

Go to Control Panel / Hardware and Sound / Sound / Manage Audio Devices.

You should now have a window with four tabs (playback / recording / sounds / communication with 3 icons in the window.

You want to double click the one that says "speakers/headphones" (IDT High Def audio coded)......new window pops up....select the tab that says "enhancements"

you should now have 4 boxes to check or uncheck as you want.

I have Bass boost / virtual sound / loudness equalisation checked.

Click Apply at the bottom of the window. (you can also play around till your happy and use the preview button to see (or hear lol) how your chosen settings sound....once your happy....thats it!!

You shouldnt need the volume cranked high now, and the sound is way better IMHO.

    Enjoy.

After making those changes, if you start experiencing skipping when playing music, go back to the same location & check the box to turn off all enhancements. The skipping issue doesn't happen to everyone, but does happen occasionally.

    Good luck!
