Just wondering if anyone has tried Starcraft 2 out on these systems.
    On maxed out Ultra settings?

How does it run? In the vids and in game?

    What are your SPECs?

    Cheers!!!!

I have! My system is R1

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q9000 (2.0 GHz)
Dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260m in SLI Configuration
    4 GBs of RAM in
    250 GB HDD

Tried the game in "Ultra" settings, but my system cannot handle it. So I changed my settings to "High" to avoid the low FPS. The game eats my RAM, no surprise there. As for the over-heating problem, i have not encountered it yet. My GPU temperatures are mostly in the high 50C to mid 60C. It's a great game. I really love the the story, just wish that you can have the same upgrades in skirmish mode as the one in campaign mode. Other than that, support Blizzard and download it from torrents... hehe.. just kidding.

On a different topic, how can I upgrade my processor to a Core I7 without buying a new system?

You can't make that upgrade. The best CPU you can have is the QX9300. You've already got the Q9000 though, so I'd just overclock that and call it a day. Enjoy your machine.
