    Hello everyone,

I was planning to work on a project on an Installer for Summing all Stuffs like Resetting Avatar, LoginScreen Background, Settings, and stuff.

I noticed in my Recovery partition that, there is a Hotfix folder, and in my Order Bill too. Like "Win7 Patch". Anyone knows where could i get the executable ?

Cause the folder having hotfixes is .CAB files. Tried using "pkgmgr.exe" to install them, but some install and some don't.

    So any clues ?

PS: Random thoughts about Windows 7 SP1 ~~

you can look inside CAB and MSI files with 7zip.

LessMSI can also look into MSI and some CABs as well.

maybe there's a readme in there. i don't recall installing any alienware-win7 patch so I couldn't say if it's required...

I am pretty sure there is a Hotfix release for Windows 7. Fixing some common issues. I indeed looked into the cabs, CABs can only be installed with Windows pkgmgr. otherwise all you see is encrypted data
