I recently purchased a M17x r2 off the dell outlet. It was supposed to come with a 1440x900 LCD but it actually has a 1920x1200 LCD. I checked the service tag and it lists the 900p screen. Aside from disassembling, how can I identify the type of LCD (is it the RGB lcd or not?)

Install HwInfo32 and post here the serial under the "monitor" tab, I or somebody else will tell you,or you can Google it and I'm sure you'll find the answer.
