765m SLI is possible on the R2, but honestly I'd recommend going for a single 780m because the performance would be slightly better than a 765m SLI setup, and would consume significantly less energy. The most powerful card confirmed to work on the R2 is the 980m: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/gtx-970-gtx-980m-in-m17x-r2.762937/page-11

If you decide to go all out and get that, make sure to get it from MSI or get an MSI branded one. MSI cards have a history of working really well with Alienwares, usually plug and play or just requiring an INF driver mod.

For best compatibility, make sure that the vbios versions on both cards are the same, and that they are from the same vendor. Your GTX 765M is a Dell branded one, so make sure you get another one pulled from another Alien or Dell laptop. From that chinese forum picture, that seems to be the case. Device ID 10DE indicates a Dell card. I'd recommend flashing the latest Dell VBIOS available for the 765M onto both cards just to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
