    Hi guys,

I am new in this forum, I am sorry if I am breaking any rule with this post, but I am having this issue and is pissing me off. I tried to contact Dell support about it and they said it was an issue about my windows 8.1, so I installed windows 7 and I still have the same problem. The screen does not go full screen, I tried to change the resolution and all other things, still not working.

My video card is Radeon HD 7970M and yes, I do installed the drivers in the Dell website.

    Any ideas? Thanks already!! :D

Update: I saw in another forum that I should change something in the bios, and I just saw that the alienware is R4 and not R3.

Contact them back for another motherboard replacement. The HDMI-In could be having issues because the 7970m is not officially supported in your machine, therefore issues like the one you mention may arise.
