    Alienware M17x R3 Fan issue PLEASE GOD HELP!

    Hi, i got a aleinware m17x r3 it arrived 2 days ago and i havnt been able to even bloody use it! i had a technician come around today because the laptop fans didnt work and it over heated anyway he installed a complete new motherboard and gave me 2 new fans , we installed recent BIOS and the fans kicked in like jet engines for 5 seconds so we assumed the fans work, after he left i thought the keyboard was still to warm for a alienware so i ran crysis 2 for 3 minutes and it over heated and shut down on me like before. the back of the systme is RED HOT!. PLEASE HELP ME! im geting sick of tech support taking there good time i want to play some games! or im throwing the system away :(

    Get that thing replaced. Why have a tech come out and work on a virgin laptop ?

    If you just got in, why not send it back for a refund if you are still within in the 2 weeks? Also I am moving this to the Alienware subforum.

    You can see the fans spinning with the back cover off. Sounds like the GPU fan isn't working or isn't mounted properly. Did you receive the 460/560M or 580M?
