    Hey guys,

I've had my M17x R3 for around a year and a half now and I've come to some conclusions. This is a beast of a machine, great performance, however I have been unlucky at least in its reliability. For the past year and a half I have experienced countless issues, so many that I'll list them below:

    - Random BSOD's
    - Appallingly slow performance when it comes to general use
    - Windows and programs will often not respond, i.e windows explorer, internet browsers, etc.
    - Many features have stopped working over time, i.e. Bluetooth and USB3.0
    - Horrible wireless signal distance compared to other laptops, and wireless often cuts out (I have a Bigfoot network adapter)
    - Daily, one of my HDD's will suddenly be unrecognized, and I am unable to do anything without restarting a few times (which isn't fun).
    - Often, the computer will decide not to turn on. To resolve this I have to take out all apparel, remove the non working battery, hold the power for 30 seconds, and then it will turn on 1 out of 10 times.
    - My battery has now stopped working, and I will have to purchase a new one.

I've had to reformat my computer at least 5 times since its purchase, and have always been able to deal with these issues, because the performance in games is great - but the fact that my battery has now stopped working, this is the tipping point. I work in the retail industry and have had countless people have their computers break down within a couple years - the expected lifetime of a computer is generally 3 years, and they are entitled to a resolution from the manufacturer.

What are my options here, am I able to get a replacement?

    Cheers,
    Josh.

Have you tried contacted Alienware to solve this issue? When I bought my M17 I had many problems close to yours, after 3 times on phone with Alienware I send my M17 to them after 1 week I got it back and haven't got any issue since then. I still get BSOD's, but that's Windows fault.

Of course I was still under warranty.
