Could you go back and clean up your post? I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what your problem is. Proper sentence structure will really help in getting your point across and finding help to your problem.

get Sound Blasters THX x-fi usb. it plugs into the usb and you connect your speakers through that. It sounds alot better than the IDT sound card. It's only $40. Just another option you can do.

    realgamers use headsets ;p

and dell soundcard is just terrible even if it had all the ports.

(i actualy got a razer headset that needs the 5.1input wich the laptop doesnt have so got a razer megalodon to solve that problem)

But yeh if u pay top dollar for a laptop like this u would expect atleast a wee bit of a decent audiochip.

silentmoon, 5.1 setups don't work right with the stock sound card.

You can first try and reinstall the IDT drivers and software to make sure it isn't an issue.

If you're still not satisfied with your sound, a USB sound card will solve your issues. Like Joey said above, the X-fi usb is a cheap but decent solution. There are others that cost a bit more out there too
