I have seen some threads in the forum, but none of them is my issue.

Today when I tested my webcam (first use), it said no webcam connected to my laptop. I have already tried FN+F9, it can be turned on and off, but still no device detected as well as in the Device Manager.

Does anyone have any issue with like mine, and if anyone can help me, I am really appreciate it.

P/s: Dell Technician have replaced my monitor once so I do not know if the problem lies in the monitor or not.

If it worked before the technician came it should be cover under the same warranty. But if you know how to open your laptop you can check the connections inside.

Hahaha, so I was not the only one.

Yeah, the webcam itself is missing in action. He or she probably forgot to put install it on the new monitor. I believe they are supposed to take it from your original monitor and put it in the replacement.

Granted, it could be something else, but you should be able to see the lens, or no lens, of the camera by looking through the hole.

Just find out that the intergrated microphone is not connected, and there is no camera behind the hole too. Well, it's time to call the technician again...
