Does anyone have an Alienware M17x R4 A15 unlocked BIOS please!

If not can anyone tell me what I need to do it myself please?

Does anyone have a "how to" for doing this unlock please?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Thanks mate. I'll give it a go and let you know how I go.

Did you unlock this BIOS yourself? Do you know what was actually unlocked?

    Thanks.

I just unzipped the file and read the readme and it states...

    -Load Legacy Option Rom: Disabled
-Boot List Option: UEFI (Pure UEFI)

No good to me coz mine is legacy at the moment. Why would they disable legacy??

Yes I always do that with my mods because if you have a 900 series Nvidia card they can't post with legacy enabled, and in the event of a cmos reset you get left with a non-booting laptop.

If you need legacy, after flashing, you can just go into the bios and turn it back on again.
