Every time I plug in the charger it lights up, but as soon as I plug it in the laptop, it no longer lights up. I also tried it without the battery, but the same thing happens. I am thinking that it might be a motherboard problem. If it is, does anyone know where I can find a replacement mobo?

(US seller refurbished if you're comfortable with this)

    (China, manufacturer refurbished)

The others I saw were just used (not refurbished) so I didn't paste the links here. You might want to take a look yourself and see if you can find something better.

By the way, will you be doing the installation yourself? While certainly doable, you need to have at least experience disassembling and reassembling laptops properly...

Thank you, those look like the better ones I have seen so far. I'm thinking of getting the US one since it might get here sooner. I am going to have my buddy install it for me, who has experience with assembly.
