yesterday i got two new 5870
first thing i saw the cards are not crossfire compatible? i cant see any way to put the cable into the cards.
but the bigger problem ist how do i get the card runable?
in my old system was a gtx 260m
now i put the new card in and then?
at the moment i run the bios at a07
i read that i have to use a flashed bios
so i downloaded one and try to overwrite the old one but i just found the a06 flashed bios.
i use win flash and it running normally
but when i restart the pc it says that i have a cmos mistake?

    Regarding the vBIOS

    Dell's Official 5870m vBIOS

As for the CMOS error, try re-seating the CMOS battery.

Are your 5870s red or green? If green, you bought non-Dell cards that are non cfx compatible (the crossfire plug is not phsyically there). If red, there should be a plug. Please take a picture of the cards and post them.

As for how to flash them correctly, flash using ati flash. When I get home ill pass on a tutorial from Radjj, from when he assisted me.

You must use the DELL cards only, we have 2 different part #'s.

    I got green ones....
i allready got the pc to work with the card build in but just with the onboard running
the fan was moving so i thought windows could find this card but it didn´t...
i wanted to flash the card in windows but i cant do it without finding it X)
so i have to copy ati flash and the flashed vbios on a usb stick and boot it over the usb stick?
