Hey, so i've been looking for a solution to my problem, havn't found anything helpful so far...
basicly, i got an m17x-r2 bios A08 and a 5870 graphic card. i recently installed the game RIFT, and that's when all the problems started- occasionally the laptop simply freezes in the middle of the game both the video and the audio freeze. there is no way of getting it back to normal besides completely turning it off and back on after a few seconds.
this thing happens ALL the time. also, when i leave the computer on standby or sleep mode, i come back and see that the screen is not responding. the LCD lights are on, the alien lights are on like it wasn't in sleep mode at all- but the screen is blank and simply won't turn on.
I got no idea what the hell is going on...anyone got an advice? :<

About the Game, what is it's source???
    downloaded, digital copy, dvd???
that can be problem if files were corrupt, or infected.
try doing "system restore", and tell us what happens...just make sure u select point that is earlier from the installation.
    GOOD LUCK!
