    Alienware M17x-R4 screen problem

    Hello, I think I have a problem with the screen in my M17X and I need some help. The screen in my laptop is also the 1920x1080 one as well if that helps.

    Basically when I first got the laptop the screen was really grainy and I thought it may have been a temporary problem. A month has passed since I got my laptop and it is still really grainy even after cleaning it.

    When I say grainy there is literally loads of irritatingly visible dots on lots of colours. It is especially noticeable on white areas.

    This is quite a pain for me as it has made it more difficult for me to make images for websites as I can't see the colours that great.

    Is there a way to contact dell about this issue without having to ring up their phone line as I have wonderful stories about their phone support.

    Could anyone please help me, thank you :)

    Definitely sounds like a hardware issue. You can PM one of the Alienware techs here in the forum to get the ball rolling on getting your screen replaced. These guys tend to be a lot more reliable than the Dell Ashram call center.

    Would you be able to link me to one of these techs please so I can make sure I'm contacting the right person xD

    Also does anyone have any wonky keys on their keyboard as my "v" and "=" keys are not very well aligned with the others and my space bar is also bent upwards on one edge for some reason :/ It's been like that since I got it.
