Hi, that heatsink looks fine - even has the pads/paste/putty in place (in the pics!) but there may be some slight differences between the heatsinks for diferent cards. You must get the x-bracket with the new card as this is matched to the height of the core.
I would look for a 580m if you can afford it - better performance and you won't have to work at getting the driver to install. If dell did not supply a model with a specific card you want to use then driver modding is usually required. Not too difficult but can be avoided -
