After removing a Disk i pushed too hard on the optical drive when putting it back into the case of the laptop.

Now when i use windows to release the drive or when I use the keyboard to I hear a click...and I can use a tool to pull out the drive but the drive does not pop out on it's own. If I don't release the drive it stays locked and is impossible to pull out without probably breaking the unit more...so before pulling it out I always hit the release button now. However it does not pop out the drive anymore so that mechanism seems to be broken.

The discs read fine in the drive still and other then the drive poping their are not preformance problems with the drive.

Any specifics on what I should look for when I take this apart to fix. I am Comptia A+ certified as of 2010, and am confident in doing this. I dont want to replace the drive if I don't have to.
