    Hi,

    Has anybody tried to use a Nvidia Quadro card in an Alienware laptop? Mine is a Dell Mx17 R2 with the ATI Radeon HD4870 graphis card.

    You got a response form another forum that states that if the socket matches and power isn't a problem, you should be fine.
    Not sure if you would need an Alienware vBIOS or not (because Quadro cards never have been in Alienwares before), but if your HD 4870m is dead, it wouldn't hurt to try.
