So today morning everything was good and the trackpad was responsive as it should be but now the mouse is lagging and jumping when I use it and sometime the trackpad just lights up like if i touched it when i actually didn't.
I bought this computer from HIDevolution.com - Specializing in customized gaming laptops, mobile workstations, desktops, and mobile devices and they sent me it from USA to Sweden and they told me that they can send me the warranty if i want. Do you guys think i can get it repaired without sending it to USA or something? :(
I also tried reinstalling Windows 8.

    Every reply is appriciated.

HI, as long as dell sell the model in Sweden you can transfer the warranty on the dell site. Look for international warranty transfer. You have phone support and remote diagnostics from anywhere in the world that dell operate and they will transfer you to the nearest AW support. You can also use the service tag to see who it is registered to (enter the tag on the drivers site and 'warranty' is a tab available), if not you then they need to transfer it.

    Good luck.

Edit: ownership is not shown so try the transfer if available to see if it works. Usually takes a week or two to complete.

You need to select the US site where it was originally sold - set the locale at the top and it should work. Once transferred you can use he local site. Since there is an AW site in Sweden then I'm sure you (or HID) can transfer it for local on-site :)

    Good luck ;)

Dell will do any upgrades that they sell for a specific model so I don't see an issue - except cost, they charge an arm-and-leg assuming wealthy customers (IMO). They quoted me more that £1K for a 680m upgrade.

The 120hz display and the 3D are awesome though and I'd never go back unless I had no option....

Will someone come home and take the laptop or will I have to send it to them? :)

For me they told me that I had to have it done by them to retain warranty, although I believe different regions operate different policies. I would expect Sweden not to be a problem and they will do it on-site. The charge I was quoted for the on-site engineer was around £100.00. I guess I could have sent it in to remove that cost though. I never took them up on it since the card was going to cost me more than 1/3 the price of the total unit

Edit: Thinking about this, once the warranty is transferred and you call in the fault they should send an engineer to fix the trackpad problem. At the point of them deciding this you could ask for the 120hz upgrade to be done at the same time saving (some of?) that extra cost, and getting it all done in one go :)

In the U.S we would normally sell the 3D screen and you would need to sell yours at eBay (no trade-in). About the visit or depot, it depends on the possibilities that the warranty has on your region. We usually send somebody to your place to make it faster :)
