help needed :( My alienware 17 cant detect my gpu :( i have uninstalled and reinstalled many nvidia drivers and still it doesnt fix it :( ive also formatted my notebook(didnt delete recovery and oem partition) but that didnt also fix it. Something's weird because if the driver is freshly installed, my gpu works and it is detected but after an hour, turning on my alienware my nvidia control panel will be missing and saying" You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU". another thing is when 332.21 drivers is installed i get BSODs Bad pool header :( in the device manager(not in 332.21 driver) NVIDIA GTX 770m says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" But nvdia is okay if im hibernating my laptop. When i hibernate my alienware it is ok the nvidia is detected it works fine but when i use shutdown nvidia wont appear i have to disable and enable it in the device manager after a couple of enabling and disabling it nvidia will appear.Shutting down my laptop causes the loss of nvidia control panel and the GPU. Please help me fix this :( Thanks in advance :(

Is the GPU detected in the system BIOS?

You should try a system restore using AlienRespawn. My old system had an issue with BSOD's and whatnot, randomly out of the blue. It turned out to be a faulty motherboard. Hopefully this isn't the case for you.

If all else fails give tech support a cal and get an on site technician to see if he can replace the gpu. If driver tricks and such don't wok.

If you re installed the OS, you will not be able to access the recovery partition so you should re install the OS again and get rid of all the partitions, this article explains how. You can create a recovery partition after the OS is re installed.

so the OEM and RECOVERY partition is useless now? should i delete them? because i have seen factory.wim in the recovery partition and by using poweriso i opened it and i saw some folders that are in factory state. :( now any nvidia drivers cant make my GPU work :( this problem started when nvidia geforce experience auto updated my alienware 17 to 332.21 and started to have bluescreen :(

This sounds similar to a problem I had with a nvidia driver like 3 drivers back. It installed properly then would bsod after 5 minutes of game play. After it bsod 3 times I rolled back my driver and all was fine.

I have rolled back many times but it didn't fix the problem. 332.21 is the only driver that gets BSODs the others don't . In other drivers nvidia is missing and it says you are not currently connected to your nvidia gpu.
