Hello, I have a problem. I have alienware m17, it has an one problem, because when I turning it on, it does the beep 8 times, from DELL web site, there was mentioned, that this is a screen problem. I did changed into another screen, but there still the same. Most strange thing is, that some times it's possible to turn it on, and than it works fine. But when I turning it off, next time if trying to turn it on, again these beeps.
What's wrong with it, and why it some times turns on, and most times makes that beep sound?

You should call their tech support.
They will repair it by replacing some stuff for your laptop.
If your laptop is brand new, ask them for a replacement.

Check out the dell manual for removal of the fan and card/heatsink assembly. It's very easy. Just remove it, clean the contacts and reseat it. No need to separate the card and heatsink.

Sounds like just a poor connection somewhere and even room temp can have a bearing!

    Good Luck

Also if it's not the 3D version. You could try to boot it form the iGPU.
