I'm experiencing some weird issue with my r3( ATI 6970m + i7 2720). If I'm charging the battery and its below 80%, sometimes the fps of games drops a lot. Idk why. It seems pretty random.
    Game: Crysis 2
    Normal FPS:30+
    Issue FPS: 20

I'm not an expert so this is a shot in the dark, but maybe it does not have enough power to charge and provide adequate power for the GPU + CPU while gaming. Do you have the correct AC adapter?

Maybe try a different outlet or surge protector?

But once im fully charged or if I restart, i dun have the problem.
Its like now I cant duplicate the problem again.
    I had it happened twice.
    Both situations were the same:
    The battery wasn't 100% charged(below 75%).
I plugged in to charge it.
Switched back from intel HD gfx to 6970m
I played a game and I had the problem.
When I restarted the computer the problem was gone and I cant duplicate it.

Any thoughts? I feel like its either the battery or the video card driver?

see if you can modify some battery options :)... probably if it is below 80% the performance drops in order to provide a long battery life.

I had similar issues when I went from unplugged to plugged in. The problem is the card would not jump to full 3d clocks. I upgrade to a04 and haven't seen it since. Hope this helps.
