    hallo all
    i thought that the m17x R3 came with 3rd generation i7s (like 3840qm etc)
    but i found an R3 that has a socket FCPGA988 i7-2670QM cpu inside

    can i just plug in a 3rd gen i7? like a 3840qm i have?

    UPDATE nevermind i got confused. the R4s came with 3rd gen. the R3s only had 2nd gen
    how can i delete this thread??
