    Hello,

So I know this is not a new thread, I read about this issue all over the place, but is seems that this issue turned slightly into another corner.

The issue is I can't find nowhere the options to switch between discrete and integrated graphics card. When I open catalyst center it gives me no suggestion to go into switchable graphics section In the beginning when I bought the laptop it always popped up the message that what kind of performance do you need high or low. and if u selected high performance it would use discrete graphics card. And know I do not get any window to pop up when I install the new game. Moreover, when I go to application settings in CCC it says that there is no applications created and I need to create it using 3D application settings. However, when I do that and press save nothing happens; as a result no new application appears.
Also, when I press fn+F7 which is the option to change between video cards, nothing happens.
There is another thing, when I right click on the desktop the table suggest few options of the AMD to choose between graphics properties and configure switchable graphics. When I open the second options it pops the window about display detection option and nothing else. I can choose there that I manually or automatic detection. But either one I press nothing seems to change.

Moreover, I looked into device managers and windows shows that both cards are working properly. SO everything seems to be alright, but the thing is I do not know which card am I using. For example, it gives me 60 FPS on Diablo 3 on max, but just 20 fps on Linage 2 max.

I do not know if I pressed something wrong because I've tried to fix and find this solution following other post, or something. I installed the newest video drivers.

My system discrete card is AMD Radeon HD 7970m

    Thank CCC.png switchable.png Application settings.png you

I believe, you have to restart for the change to take effect.

The best thing I would suggest is to re-store your entire system from scratch, and re-install all the drivers in a correct Order (doesn't really matter much but still ;) )

It is just sometimes if you get to press accidentally and keys or change any settings in the Catalyst Control, this could have happened.

And if you do not wish to re-store the system, let me know I shall let you know another solution.

(I have been through this :p)

HOWEVER I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO RE-STORE your system for the best.

Well I've tried system restore to the point I have bought it. And it didn't help. However, right now I have started to think that I have turned off my integrated Intel video card and that is why I do not get switchable graphics option. Can it be the issue here ? ( but I do not know how I did it). But I would like to here another solution technique from you. :)
