    It however hasn't been released.
Assuming what we know and rumors, it'll likely be the last upgrade for many (assuming a MXM-B 2060 exists)
Be warned, it is going to cost quite the pretty penny

those are MXM 3.1+ (or whatever you want to call the clevo sized MXM cards)

I was under the impression that the Area51m is replacing both the 15 and 17.

The new lineup is M15/M17 and 51M, but none use MXM

No, it will be alongside m15 and m17, but unlike those two full BGA machines, the a51m will use lga cpu and dgff gpu

Mxm is dead. Clevo uses its own weird cards, MSI use their own weird card, Dell uses its own weird card, standards are dead since Nvidia stopped providing reference design after maxwell

Ah, I just never saw the m15 and m17 as a replacement to the 15 and 17.

They dont make MXM, they resell.

Of which, Eurocom is overpriced exploding paper weights with no support. Where repairs will cost more than replacing the card outright.

Clevo cards have always been hit and miss on Alienware from what I read also you would have needed to modify your chassis quite a lot to support those irregular cards, you would also need a new heatsink custom made
