I just had a gtx 770m installed in my laptop. It came from an alienware m17x. My old card was a 675m. The drivers do not install and it was suggested to me that I should ask about it here. After looking around this site, I think that I might have to use modded drivers. I have a 3D display and that may be the problem. Also, I can't install the intel HD 4000 drivers.

I looked on the laptopvideo2go site, but I'm confused about how I would go about using modded drivers to get the video card to work on this computer. Help please! :)

You need modded drivers from laptopvideo2go. 120hz/3d so no intel integrated graphics (its bypassed since it doesnt support 120hz).

Ok. So I just copy the inf file into the correct directory in the folder where the drivers are, then run setup?

    *Update*

I've tried to install the drives with the modded inf file but it still fails to install.

*Update 2* I turned off the windows driver screening thing and that seems to have worked. The driver installed. Now I'm going to check how the card performs. Thanks for the help!
