Hey guys recently got an M17x r1 with q9000 and a gt9400m. I was wondering what is the best gpu I can put in the laptop, a lot of people are saying it's a 680m or ati 5870 but they all use different mxm slots. So what is the best gpu you can place in this baby :D

Officially 4870M CF is the best GPU (performance is on the same level as 280M SLI, but uses less power).
    285M is basically a 280M but i don't know if fans work natively (280M is officially for M17x R1, 285M was shipped with M17x R2)

Unofficially 5870M, but be prepared for possibile trouble, the R1 motherboards are picky when it comes to 5870M cards (fans don't work)
