From the readings of my GPU-Z, my brand new M17x r3 won't change my GPU to the 6970m even if CCC says it is on the "High Performance GPU"

it just stays on the integrated graphics card

Anyone have a solution for this?

Make sure you are on dedicated by pressing function key + f7 to switch from integrated to dedicated. When you look at GPU-Z, you need to select your 6970 from the menu at the bottom of the window. By default, mine shows the Intel GPU first.

Secondly, run some benchmarks like 3DMark06 or Futuremark to rule out that it isn't switching.

I haven't run the 3dmark06 tests yet, but my FPS in game is so low.

I can hardly play SC2 on low without my frame rate dropping ridiculously low

In GPU-Z are you able to select the ATI graphics from the dropdown at the bottom of the window?
