Hello, I was just installing the new ati 12.8 beta driver. Uninstalled the previous and successfully installed the new one. Now my red alienware lock screen theme has gone? How do I get this back?

    Thanks!

On desktop, right click and choose Personalize. Scroll down until you see Installed themes. You should see the Alienware theme. Double click on it and the red lock screen should return.

Or if you mean your Alienware background on login screen here's how to get it back:

Go to start, type in regedit and hit enter. In regedit navigate to 'folder':
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background

inside it you will see a file called OEMBACKGROUND, which will have a data value of 0. Double click it and change it to 1, click ok and close registry editor. You will need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect. When I was on Windows 7 one of the updates about a week or two ago changed login screen background to simple blue Windows 7 picture as it simply disabled OEM background in registry.
