HI, I received my Alienware a few weeks ago and im having a few problems already. When i connect my HDMI to my ps3 via the alienware hdmi input the audio and picture comes out fine. After a while the screen gets a bit staticy and starts to cut out. Every 20 seconds or so i get a black screen for around 2 seconds which then flashes back on. This is EXTREMELY annoying as i really want to play ps3.
    Please get back to me.

I found that a poor hdmi cable will do this, as the hdmi input needs to sense a good signal to recognize that it has an input.

The hdmi cable that I received with my directv box was the worse, it would cut out like yours. But once I switch it over to a good quality cable I havn't had the problem since.

    I'd try a different cable.

Try a different cable, if that does not work then take a look into this article.
