    hello everyone,

I have a problem last year I bought myself a Alienware m17x r5 but after what I read about the 120hz
screen I regret not to have added it. So my question is is there a difference between the 3D Video cable from
the different R series like R3, R4 to the R5 and is the ir transmitter as standard included?

    Sorry for my bad English.

Yes there is.. You need the video cable for the R5..

Transmitter wise, I believe you'll be fine but don't take my word about it..

    Thanks for the quick Answer.
So the Ir Transmitter is not included in the cable?

This has all been answered in the sticky post...

No the cables are not the same, I don't know about the different R series but the 17 is not the same, and it is insanely hard to find and can be expensive. A user has also reported that the site that we were sourcing the screens from may have changed revisions and the new revisions are not working properly and the laptop is not picking them up on post.

The IR emitter is not included with the cable....it fits above the webcam and is added separately although it is easy to find and relatively cheap.
