    As mentioned I have a AW17 with a 4700MQ, 780M, 16GB RAM and a 1TB drive w/64 SSD cache.

My desktop appears to have HD issues as it is now starting to crash. Could be Windows 10. Most of the parts are old. 660ti and a i7 930 OC'd to 3.8.

I'm looking at either upgrading my desktop to a SSD and hoping that's he only issue however I will also need a DvD drive.

If I just upgrade my Desktop I think I can sell my 17 for 800-900.

Just looking for what could be a better upgrade path. I have been deployed for a long time so I am not current on hardware information.

I usually travel for about 30 days a year.

Forgive the format of this I typed it from my phone.
