I haven't even seen a person here with a 6870, im trying to find a good way to overclock it while keeping it stable, preferably in the bios.

Try using Sapphire Trixx. v4.0 is the one you want.

i have it, im on 4.0.2, should i try just 4.0? i get unstable things with it.

You should be able to OC your card to similar clocks, and yes try using 4.0 -
