    Any M17x R1 ppl getting random freezes in WoW since patch?

    I have noticed this happening sometimes usually when I first get into a dungeon screen just freezes I can still Ctrl+Alt+Del to force quit and just re-open WoW but its annoying.

    Is it the headless horseman dungeon or any dungeon? Cause everyone is getting the headless horseman one.

    It is a widespread and well-known bug. Blizzard is testing a permanent fix which I hope will rollout in tomorrow's maintenance. In the meantime, there is a simple addon you can install that will prevent the crash (it occurs when you mouse over the pumpkin):

    I also noticed that this occurs many times when "clicking" on a mage table or lock "candy" well. It is really annoying. Has cost me some game time in BG when I am kicked and have ot wait 15 minutes to run a new one. Refund, Blizz...lol!

    If you are crashing when clicking on mage tables and warlock soul wells, and not just the HH pumpkin, then there is a more aggressive addon for that too:

    CogFix - Addons - Curse

    This one disables all one-line tooltips, not just the HH pumpkin one. I only have problems with the HH event, mage tables etc are fine, so I use the other fix for now.

    By the way, today's patch should have resolved this issue and you shouldn't need either of the above addons that I posted about anymore.
