    I was building a M17x on Dell's website, looking at an R2 and the total subtracted a discount of $700 (if it was over $3,099), I was very surprised. So I went back to add more bells and whistles and now the discount amount is gone. It originally said it was good through the 11th of November I do believe. Any ideas on this?

    Maybe the discount had something to do with the hardware you had, that you then upgraded ? or the price ?

    The best way to get discount is to call, IMO. I got really good deals by calling.
