I received my r3 a couple of hours ago. Everything's great until I wanted to try a 3d bluray movie. Then I realized that PowerDVD 9.6 3D isn't on the system. It isn't even in the resource CD included with the system and it isn't on the software download page as well.

I called AW support and they said it should've been included in the resource disc. He said that mine was the only one he's seen that didn't have it. He even logged into my system to check for himself.

Unable to find it, he said he'd ship me another resource CD from an older system. It would have an earlier version of PowerDVD included. I don't know if this version would be 3D ready. He also told me to wait until the dell downloads page gets updated to get the spec'd Power DVD version.

To all the new R3 owners out there... Did you guys get the Power DVD software?

off topic - did any of you get a mini display port to DVI converter?
i tot it was suppose to be included as well, or is that only for the M15x?

    Dr J. I have M17x R3 - i7 2720QM, 460M , 1920x1080p @ 120Hz 3D, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD

I plan to upgrade to 8GB and get a next-gen SSD when they're out.

usshellfire... No display port to dvi adapter here either.
