I've installed three or four of the beta drivers for 12.11 and they all end of having the same issue. Random BSOD about 10-15 seconds after logging in and reaching the desktop. Doesn't happen every boot, but will happen 2/3 times. If it gets past that it works no problem, but its really a crapshoot when booting if it blue screens.

The BSOD is usually display adapter has stopped responding. Which typically should just leave a message saying has stopped responding but has been recovered, it usually several of those for the OS to crash.

Reverting back to the 7/13/2012 drivers on Dell's website fixes the problem, but it is unfortunate these beta drivers do not work for me. The performance gain really is great.

Just an addition, I just tried the 12.10 drivers from AMD's website and had the same issue. Seemingly 2/3 chance of blue screening 10-15 seconds after logging in.

Already been done. I manually wipe out all previous drivers every single time I install new ones. And I even did a clean OS install before installing the beta 8 of 12.11 to no avail. Like I said, this issue happens on 12.10 and 12.11 but the ones from Dells website work perfectly albeit with less performance.

considering you have the exact same build as me and you "truly wiped" all AMD/ATI drivers and reinstalled them in the proper order you should not be having a problem. Pull up your error log info here so we can get a better look at the fail codes.

There is also a program in bios I believe that will check all hardware for errors, "community please post the name of it and how to please, I can't seem to remember what it is called." I would run this program to see what errors you receive, if any exist it will be identified.

Forgive my question, but where would I find error logs? I know how to navigate to minidumps but those become incomprehensible symbols when opened in notepad.

Google and download "Whocrashed". It will traslate the minidumps in readable information

Haha I got the exact same crash from atikmpag.sys. It happened when I reset my laptop, right after I logged in with all the start up programs pulled up, it got into BSOD and reset itself. Have you tried disabling Enduro?

Yes, however the games in the Witcher series do not work without Enduro on for some reason. Extremely choppy. I have not noticed this happening when Enduro is off now that you mention it. I would gladly leave enduro off but the Witcher games literally are terrible without Enduro on.

Hmm it's so weird. Have you tried researching it? I know Witcher 2 is a pretty heavy game.

Oh yes I have. I completely max the Witcher 2 with Enduro on at 60fps (minus ubersampling). And it runs BEAUTIFULLY. Switch enduro off and I still show 60fps constant in fraps but everything is choppy. Stuff pops in and out of being. Its extremely weird and also happens with the first so I just grew to accept it.

I guess this sort of explains my problem when running with enduro off

And turning down the settings doesn't help. Still the same. Perfect fps and stuttering everywhere.
