Anyone getting throttling with Hitman: Absolution?

I've got an M17x R3 (specs in my sig) and the 306.97 drivers and latest VBIOS from dell. I have had no issues with any of my games for over a month, and after playing Hitman: Absolution for about an hour on ultra settings, I got about 10-seconds of throttling in the middle of the tutorial, then it didn't happen again for the rest of the level.

My M17x doesn't throttle during the Hitman: Benchmark or for any other games. Am I missing something here? Should I roll back to 296.10 or is my laptop trying to tell me I need to play on lower settings?

and yes, I've got the laptop well ventilated, with a coolermaster laptop stand. I've had no issues with any games until Hitman. Anyone else having issues?

Use the beta 310.61 on nvidia website, it is for Hitman.

I have run 310.61, no issues here, but I don't have hitman specifically, it was updated specifcally for hitman though.
