    So I tried this

I'd really like to find out how much an upgrade would cost. I'm not planning on upgrading for a few months, but I'd really like to know how much money I'll need to set aside.

    Anyone have some better info?

You can keep your warranty no matter what, they just won't warrant a new graphics card. They won't do it if you buy from them either. If you upgrade the new part is not warrantied no matter what.

I haven't heard any recent pricing but a few months ago people got quotes ranging for $600 to $1200 depending on region, agent, etc.

Odd that they wouldn't warrant a sanctioned upgrade. I wanted to get the dell upgrade anyway since I heard that the aftermarket cards had a problem with the fan
