I have not played this game for awhile so I don't really know what the FPS should be at but on high settings I am struggling to pull 25fps :S which does not seem right....I used to play up until the mid point of MoP and then I quit due to not enough new content and I am pretty sure I was running Ultra then with no problems. I can't see the system requirements going up THAT much.

I know there is a thread going over in the new 15/17 section and someone is claiming their 970m is pulling 100-120 in all areas so I can't see the 780m being THAT behind. Just curious what anyone else is seeing?

I am in the process of a complete re-install as I did get the game install from a friends computer so thought I would try a clean in stall first and see if that helps.

    4800mq level 1 OC to 3.9GhZ
780m flashed with the modified vBios but not overclocked atm.
    16gb ram
    Windows 8.1

Everything else I play seems to fun fine so I don't think there is a GPU issue and I am running 120hz so optimus isn't a factor.

Yes. I got a free 10 day trial with the new expo and though I would give it a try. When I am at work I connect to the internet through my cell data and so downloading a 30gb installation would be unadvisable so I grabbed the install off my buddies laptop but when I booted it up I was met with really poor FPS and overall poor gameplay which felt like low GPU performance so I was immediately turned off but after a full reinstall it is running beautifully so I will probably play my 6 days left more haha....

I know with each new expac the system req usually jump as they add stuff to make the game look prettier but I just couldn't see the drop I was seeing being correct.

I am having some FPS rate issues with nearly the same spec laptop withMarvel Heroes if you can believe that! Oh and I also quit WoW during MoP for the same reason. I tried getting into WoD but just didn't have it in me to spend so much time. I even have a councilmember who plays and wants me to play (I work for a City government) but I cannot commit the time and I am more into "quick" games like Starcraft, Diablo, Infinite Crisis and Marvel Heroes.

I discovered that my lag issues were due to the 240 AC adapter, so I purchased a 330 waat and now it is great!
